why pilates?

Pilates is a method of exercise that will condition and tone the body, working the muscles from the inside out. We work through Joseph Pilates repertoire of 34 classical Pilates exercises, with variations and different equipment to strengthen and improve your core strength and flexibility.

One of the many advantages of this approach is that movements can be gentle on the body and with regular sessions you will reap the benefits of a fitter and healthier you. But remember we must all start at the beginning with each of the moves, many of which can be advanced or modified as you progress in your class. All the moves will assist in releasing tension, and will help your body to feel more poised, less stressed and hopefully improve your feel good factor.

Always make sure you listen to your body and challenge yourself gradually - you can then move towards your goals at a safe and effective pace.
